VX open winch hoists are designed to operate in tough, arduous conditions with high frequency of switching operations.
They can be rated for higher duty classifications and/or faster lifting speeds or with greater lifting heights than competitor hoists and the open plan design makes servicing and maintenance uniquely easy.
True vertical lift is standard, ensuring no deviation in the hook path throughout the full hook stroke.
VX open winch hoists are available in many formats with multiple combinations of drum length, gear ratio and rope reeve providing mechanical handling solutions up to 200t safe working load.
The most economic solutions are the standard formats however the flexible design is ideal for incorporating supplementary equipment and providing process integration to the most exacting specifications.
A wide range of duty classifications are available in accordance with European and US standards. Hoist and travel motors are available as dual speed or variable frequency control with electrical braking.

Extra Hoist Brake Safety
Street VX hoists incorporate a failsafe hoist brake acting on the gearbox's first reduction shaft. This unique feature ensures the hoist brake is effective even if the hoist motor is removed or if either of the following components should fail.
